We have moved Catholicland in Barrie after 15 yrs of mission work to a marina in Holland Landing, 30 mins. from GTA to be more centrally located & to serve you better. We chose to dedicate the marina to Our Lady and call it Stella Maris (Star of the Sea), in her honor. This was the only name that was suggested to us, independently, by a friend, a priest and a bishop. We are lay Catholics (retired teachers) with a MISSION: To provide & promote a Catholic environment for Recreation, Reflection & Retreat for Families, Parish Groups; Youth, choir, prayer,.. Cursillo, Marriage Enrichment, KoC,...   The Marina & our 75 acres of land, nearby will allow for various day & overnight year- round fellowship & activities; hiking, fishing, boating, skidooing, ice fishing, skating,... Along with reflective themes & guest speakers. Our overnight retreatants are to be accommodated in houseboats or you may bring own tent / trailer. See EVENTS. We invite the faithful to pray, participate and promote our mission. We welcome youth; 18 to 36 and the retired to VOLUNTEER help build our vision.
