Benedict XVI Calls Families to Unite. They must Mobilize to Influence Culture. Mexico on Jan 18, 2009
Our Holy Father at the World Meeting of Families in Mexico on Jan 18, 2009 reiterated the following, that
"families must mobilize themselves to promote a culture 'of life and build' the Kingdom of God".
The family, he concluded, is called "to evangelize and be evangelized."
"The future of society depends on the strong, authentic witness of Catholic families" said the Supreme Knight,

Hence our mission is to provide and promote a place for faithful Catholic families to be able to join together in
Solidarity (unity & commitment) with other families, to bring about formation, strategy & change in our society.

| Our MISSION To provide a Catholic environment for Recreation, Reflection & Retreat (RR&R) for Families, Parish Ministries; young adults, prayer groups & associations like the KoC, Cursillo,... Our mission is dedicated to Our Lady; Stella Maris (Star of the Sea). We have 2 properties, 30 mins. from the 401 & 404/400,Toronto, ON., near Newmarket. Stella Maris, a serene & scenic 5 acre property with over 1000' on the Holland River is best suited for young adults, while our 75 acres nearby, we hope to develop as Catholicland; a catholic community centre for family RR&R. We invite families, young adults & parishes ministries to experience our 'little way' of Faith, Fun & Fellowship for: YEAR-ROUND: retreats, socials, movies, plays, rosary, sing-a-longs, SUMMER: picnics, reunions, volleyball, soccer, fishing, boating, campfires, ... WINTER: skating on our lagoon, ice fishing, snowshoeing, X-country on the river. Floating bunks & tents are available to accommodate our members & parish ministries.
